My professional interests include:

  • Engineered custom visualizations using JavaScript (D3.js) and Python (Plotly) to drive internal strategy and external marketing; increased engagement rates on digital advertisements.

  • Audited and refined colleagues’ analytical approaches and results in Python.

  • Built interactive applications for financial and retail clients using SQL, Plotly and Streamlit.

  • Provided analyses on retail client behavior and general spending trends to understand demand and possible marketing opportunities for an internet based fine jewelry company.

New York Police Department (NYPD)(2015-2020)

  • Led data science operations for the Police Commissioner’s Office.

  • Provided analytics to inform NYPD policies and public statements.

  • Created detailed reports of robbery and domestic violence crime patterns throughout New York City. Reports contained several visualizations as well as written summaries of key findings.

  • Created and led four three-hour classes for Columbia University MPA students interested in learning Python.
